Brenda Foster has been a Paralegal with Byron A. Lassiter & Associates, P.C. for more than ten years. Ms. Foster assists our clients with handling their appeals at the Appeals Council and Federal Court levels. She also works closely with Mr. Lassiter in researching case law and preparing written briefs on behalf of our clients during appeals. In addition, Ms. Foster is instrumental in keeping track of all deadlines for the firm, as well as scheduling all hearings and appointments for Mr. Lassiter. In addition, she is a backup for the bookkeeper in the firm. The efforts of Ms. Foster, in conjunction with those of Mr. Lassiter, play a direct role in the high number of cases we win at the Federal Court level.

Adrian Bates is an Administrative Assistant at our law firm who bears the mammoth responsibility of ensuring that all medical records and legal documents received in the office are copied or scanned, submitted and properly filed. In addition, Ms. Bates works closely with other office personnel in the development of new client files and in procuring pertinent medical evidence for each case. Carol Hughes is a graduate of Spring Hill College (Go Badgers!). Ms. Hughes obtained a BA in Communication Arts while simultaneously competing for the school’s honor as a member of the Lady Badgers Basketball Team. For the past 15 years, Carol has proudly served the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AAHSA) as a Basketball Official. Ms. Hughes brings a vast background full of diversity.
